I love this bookstore! They have a great selection and friendly staff.
I love this bookstore, what a gem in the Pilsen community! There are so many books, and they’re very well-organized. There’s even a children’s section in the back of the store. Most of the books seem to be new or barely used. Today was Independent Bookstore Day so everything was 10% off, I got an awesome haul of books! The staff were also very friendly. I had a wonderful time here!
Very enjoyable little book store. Awesome selection for the size. Large leftist and progressive collection of books and textbooks about a broad spectrum of subjects. There is also one of the best cookbook collections I’ve seen at an Indie store. Only two shelves of romance novels but does cover the must reads of tik tok. Found this a very enjoyable little spot and defo a great neighborhood book.
All my life looking for books on revolutionary ideas. Was even told at Barnes and Nobles that they didn’t possess books on Karl Marx since 1966. Will be coming back !
Wide, unique selection of books and extremely pleasant atmosphere. The staff were friendly and approachable. The book sections are clearly organized and well labeled. Definitely worth the trip! There’s also a nice coffee shop conveniently a few doors down, to stop by after you pick out a new book.
Unfriendly, bigoted, and discriminatory.
The staff pretty much portrays everything they believe they are against.
Hateful bunch of pathetic people. Regarded of your political and social beliefs I imagine being a bigoted jerk isn’t going to help
This place is an absolute gem. Every time I'm here I find so many interesting books and zines that I couldn't possibly buy them all. Everyone who works here is a badass who really cares about the space. Cooperatively owned, support local book stores like this that put community first and cut big corps out of the publishing cycle by buying straight from small publishers and authors.
Check out the fliers and stickers they've got around, and say hi to the person at the front!
Great neighborhood bookstore. Found books slightly cheaper online, but definitely felt it was worth supporting a local company. Staff was very helpful and patient.
